Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Life is dreary for the four Linnet children until they come under the guardianship of their Uncle. They develop a relationship with, amongst others Lady Valerian and her extraordinary household. Green boards, gilt to spine. B/w illustrations. 232 pages.
Spine and corners bumped. A little browning to board edges. Browning to front endpaper and pastedown. Sticky white label to top of front endpaper. Top corner of endpaper missing which means label has stuck to top of half title page. Occasional mark otherwise contents are clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge worn adn torn with small piece of loss to spine. Browning to spine and wrapper edges. Wrapper is grubby with some foxing to verso.
