Volume 1 only of a two volume set. Three-quarter burgundy leather binding, burgundy cloth boards. 15 tissue guarded b/w plates and maps.
Front edge of spine split, rear edge of spine worn, spine may detach at some point. Corners worn. Boards a little marked. Front joint cracked but binding holding at time of stock recording. Rear hinge pulled. Top corner cut from title page. Preface pages (2 pages) worn with edge loss. Contents are grubby.
