Take a trip through the lanes of Hampshire, the Somerset valleys, the Dorset woods to the Cornish Coast. 70 exquisite illustrations (colour frontis, 25 full page b/w wood engravings, plus text illustrations and chapter headers & footers). Green boards, silver title to spine. 176 pages. 8.5 x 5.5".
Spine and corners bumped. Ink stamp to front pastedown. Erased writing to top of front endpaper. A little foxing to edge of text block plus a small pen mark to bottom edge. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge worn and torn. Spine and rear panel is browned. Rear panel is grubby. White circle with 'B' is taped to bottom of spine. A little surface paper damage to front panel. Foxing to wrapper edges.
