Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. 'Whenever Drake sails a Fennel goes with him.' That was the saying in Plymouth. When Alan Fennel couldn't go with the 'Pelican' his brother Martin went instead. This is his story an that of his friend John Small who stayed behind in Devon. Green cloth boards with black titles to spine and vignette of a sailing ship to front. Colour frontis. 192 pages.
Spine and corners bumped. Endpapers browned. Foxing mainly to page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a few small tears. Spine is browned. Rear panel and flap are grubby. Couple of white labels to verso which is lightly browned.
