There was much excitement in the Tintern shop yesterday when we were visited by a TV crew from a company called Tinopolis, they are hoping to make a programme about Welsh villages. So we were more than happy to let them film inside and outside our lovely shop. We will let you know if it gets broadcast and then I will be more than happy to sign autographs!!

I wish to comment on Marie’s visit to Italy. I really enjoyed her article , especially the pictures. It was so clearly written. Real sentences and correctly written prose and no spelling mistakes! I’m 76 years old and my husband (78) and I have been appalled at mistakes in grammar and spelling in big city newspapers and national magazines i.e. Time! Are people who own bookstores, frustrated authors, waiting for their big break? I think I would buy anything you wrote, Marie, just to enjoy the mechanics of the writing. I hope to send you an order in the next month for some children’s books (I bought some Ameliaranne from you a couple of years ago) but as of now I’ve lost my list! Please keep sending your news letter, I really enjoy it! Sincerely Jo Hoff johoff@telusplanet.net
